Try your hand in fishing...

Omiš is an ideal place for fishing in the traditional way called 'kančanica'. It's already known that Cetina river in Omiš flows into the sea, creating brackish water and the mixing of water currents. That is a real paradise for the gathering of sea fish.

Fishing tour starts early in the morning. In a small boat, we take a drive down in a southerly direction under the mountain, right to the secret locations known only to local fishermen. Then we stop at one of those, so-called post office, and take prepared hooks and baits from our local guide fisherman.

After a short introduction to the equipment, hooks, fish, technique, and baits, it's time for the first try in hand fishing. The morning silence, the beautiful ambience, the calm sea with the flight of seagulls watching from above make this experience unforgettable. At the end of this fishing tour, we take home our happy catch. On the way back, we jump into the sea and enjoy in beautiful water. The total time of the adventure is three hours.
