Eye of the earth

Discover the Cetina river source, famously known as the Eye of the Earth...

From above it looks like a dragon's eye and you can see that it is an infinity blue-turquoise hole in the earth, which is about amazing 115 meters deep. It is certainly one of the most fascinating and surreal places to see in all of Croatia. Our excursion starts early in the morning. We will drive 1 hour and 45 minutes through authentic villages, where time has stood still, past several fortresses and untouched landscapes. Near source there is a two beautiful architecture gems, Church of Holy Salvation and the Old Cetina Mill. Refreshment in the ice clear water? Yes, it is possible, especially in the middle of summer, when high air and sea temperatures prevail, but in spring it is only for the bravest, because temperatures are then only 8 degrees Celsius. They will have memories for a lifetime. The highlight of the tour is a visit to Lake Perućko, where you can swim and sunbathe. The lake is dominated by nature and the ambience is like being on one of the islands. Landscapes consist of stone, grass, water, shepherd's dwellings and eagles in the sky. The lake is covered by a sunken castle.
